Los Reyes del indie vuelven en junio con un nuevo disco: sí, Sonic Youth ya tiene listo su nuevo trabajo discográfico que por el momento se llamará ‘The Eternal‘.
Será el primer trabajo de la banda para el sello Matador Records. Thurston Moore contó que el veterano grupo le está dando los toques finales a este álbum que estará repleto de “jugosas canciones supersónicas“.
‘The Eternal’ -si al final lo denominan así- será el primer disco desde 2006, cuando lanzaron el irregular ‘Rather Ripped’. Mientras, Kim Gordon también tiene un proyecto alejado de la música, que es lanzar su propia línea de ropa de nombre Mirror/Dash.
Recordamos que la banda estuvo con el sello Geffen durante dos décadas y ahora lanzarán el álbum bajo uno independiente como Matador, “un sello fuerte, con un nivel muy alto“, en palabras de Moore.
